Friday Foto: Fashionistas

For the last 6 months or so it's been all about the dress ups. I think Teya's cousin Maile introduced her to the idea and as you can see from the pictures, she quickly forgot about her pirate and dinosaur obsession and embraced the girly world of princess fashion.

Teya and her cousin Maile, where it all began.

Then her friend Megan, who has an enormous collection of dress ups, helped fuel the fire.

Working Megan's pretty pink heels

Halloween time and Brinley's on board too

Sadly the only dress ups we owned, besides their Halloween costumes, were a few tutus and a purple feather boa.

So I caved and bought them their own supply

And they've been putting them to good use ever since : )

Chenoa LOVES her little dress up clothes. She comes down stairs with the most random things on. It's so funny. And she always has to be wearing her "Gwass swippers." haha. I always have to take a pic b/c she looks so cute. I'll post a couple on my blog!! haha

Abiail has the same dress up get-ups. She is desperate however for someone to dress up with her. One day Jacob came down all decked out in a Snow White costume. Joe about had a coronary.

All I can say is that poor little Brooklyn would be devastated if she knew what she was missing out on! Hope we can get together again while they are all still in the dress up stage so they can play together! Love you dude!

I remember those days well. My mom loves to tell the story of how one day my dad came home from work and Karen and I were all decked out in my mom's lingerie in the front yard. I am guessing we were princesses...but somehow the title "Lady of the Night" works so much better!

So cute! Elizabeth's the dress-up queen at our house - she goes through several multi-layered outfits per day.
