Monday was Teya's birthday and we celebrated over the weekend with a much anticipated Ariel the Little Mermaid party. She really really REALLY loves Ariel! It doesn't matter if you give her a stick, a rock, a piece of trash, as long as it has Ariel on it you've made her day. It's hard not to give in when it's that easy to make her happy! Here is a look at her fun birthday full of Little Mermaid happiness : )

We decked the house out in streamers and Little Mermaid decor

The table was all ready for party festivities to begin

Taber found these super cute Ariel plates at the Disney store on clearance! He scooped them up for the party and figured Teya would be happy with the new additions to our dish collection.

Little friends started arriving and Teya was ready to greet them in her Little Mermaid dress-up costume.

We had them search for their hidden treat bags while everyone was still arriving.

Then it was on to the crafts. The girls made foam door hangers with lots of stickers and foam paint.

It's hard to go wrong with little girls and stickers. This kept them busy for awhile.

The finished products!

Then it was on to pin the flower tiara on Ariel.

Each girl got her own flower tiara for playing.

After that Teya requested hide and go seek, so they played that for awhile and then launched into making beaded necklaces while Taber got lunch ready.

Hot dogs, Cheetos and fruit salad, a few of Teya's favorites!

Then it was time for the cake!

You can tell she was so happy about her pretty Ariel cake. We sang and she managed to blow her candles out without any other "helpers" pitching in : )

Then she went straight for the frosting.

It was kind of sad cutting into that beautiful cake but I'm happy to say that it tasted as good as it looked!

On to presents!

Everyone brought such fun and thoughtful gifts, including plenty of Mermaid toys, clothes, books, and dolls. Teya was very happy and grateful : )

After a few rounds of Freeze Dance it was time for friends to go home. When they left Teya came up to us and said, "Thank you for my WONDERFUL birthday party Mom and Dad!" I couldn't help but smile at her sweetness and her genuine gratitude.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful little girl. I love you so much and am so grateful that the last 4 years of my life have been blessed to have you in them!

What a sweet party, I know she was in heaven! That cake did look really delicious on the inside, too. Happy 4th Birthday to Teya!
You guys did a great job on her birthday party! I am sur Miley would have loved to have been there. :) I can't believe Teya is 4! Wow!
Wow! You really are the queen of party throwing. I dread the day that Brooklyn realizes that she wants a birthday party. I would never be able to come up with all the fun stuff that you did. Plus...I guess I'm just not a party kind of girl. You did a fantastic job and I'm sure Teya felt like the most important person in the world!
So adorable! Happy birthday Teya! Good work on the party and cake!! Can you believe they are FOUR????
FUN party! I was just thinking about Anna's next month. Just thinking about it is a lot of work!
The cake looked fantastic!
She has got to be the happiest girl on earth after such a great party and such a fantastic looking cake! Way to be a super momma!
So fun! It looks like Teya had the best party ever. :) You guys are such awesome parents!
P.S. We saw Tau and Sarah when they were here. Chris happened to be home for a week so he got to see them too. They went to the Chinese New Year's festivities with Cam and Lohi.
Dang, I wish I could get away with having an Ariel party...I'd look ridiculous in that costume though! Happy Birthday Teya, we can't wait for about sixteen years to go by so we can reunite you and Trevor!
Happy Birthday little Teya! Noa and I tried to sing for you on your mommy's answering machine but it kept ending our message because we were too loud. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Bec you did an awesome job on that cake. You could start a business :) and score for Taber finding such cool plates to add to your dishes and complement the party
I can not believe that little Teya is 4!! I remember when you first had her, hard to believe that the little princess is so grown up! She's still just as beautiful as ever!
What an awesome party! My girls would be in heaven if I ever threw anything half that cool. And I'm still in awe over that cake. Miss Teya is so beautiful, and I can't believe she's four!
