This pic was taken about 3 years ago when my parents and sisters came to visit us in Tennessee. We took them to the Opry Mills Mall and Hotel as well as a quick stop at the Grand Ole Opry House. Those were always some of my favorite places to visit when we lived there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people in Nashville and everyone who's been affected by this natural disaster. If you want to donate or volunteer for help you can visit the Hands On Nashville website Here.

I can't believe the flooding in Tennessee right now...it is so crazy, and I know it hits close to home for you! Cute pictures from when you lived there though!
Man! The flooding over there is CRAZY! It is sad to see everything under water.
Isn't it awful? We're not sure what to do with our road trip now - we were planning on spending a few days and nights in Nashvile, but now I don't know - our hotel is right down the road from the Opry Mills Hotel/Mall.
I like the picture of you and your sister, though!
It has definately been nuts! There were actually fish from bass pro shop loose and swimming around in the mall for a bit.
thanks for the post, Becca! Nashville is the bomb diggity city.
I know what you mean! The hotel is one of my favorite places on the planet. We have so many memories of that wonderful place that it just breaks your heart to see the destruction and the people it has affected
