Here are some picture highlights from Taber's Birthday Weekend : )
The girls came storming into our room at 6:30am, shouting "Happy birthday Daddy!" and demanding to open presents.

They helped Daddy open some that Grandma Karen had sent out. Grandma was thoughtful enough to include some that Taber could use to play with the girls : )
After Taber came home from work we had a special birthday dinner for him (Salmon and potatoes, his favorite) and then we had some yummy cake!
Teya couldn't resist taking a little dip before we lit the candles : )
After cake it was present time again!

Taber got some great books and DVD's as well as some new grilling goodies. The highlight though was the Garmin GPS watch his mom got for him. He took it for a 6 mile test run on Saturday and LOVED it! Thanks Mama Rigg!
On Saturday we got a babysitter and went to dinner at Outback. After dinner we got together with friends to watch Avatar in the Hann's awesome theater room. Now that I've watched a movie sitting in those amazingly comfy couches, I don't know if I can ever go back!

The movie got over around 11:30pm, but we were still feeling the party bug, so we called our babysitter to see if she could stay a little longer and then headed over to Chili's for desserts! Molten chocolate cake and Paradise pie. Mmmm....two of the many reasons I love Birthdays!!

Looks like Taber had a great birthday, judging by the look of sheer excitement in most of his pictures! Ha ha! OK seriously jealous of that theater room...I think I totally need one someday. And I love the flowers you have been wearing in your hair lately...where did you get them?
Whoa! Looks like Taber had a sweet B-day. Wish I could have taken a bite out of that molten lava thing. Mmmmmmm!
Great birthday!
I'm loving all the desserts!
I'm glad Taber got some presents for playing with the girls, that was cute. :) And just a wee bit envious of the Garmin! Nice!
That cake looks really pretty with the sliced strawberries like that- Jarom saw it and said, "I want that cake when I turn 2." (he is 2)
Looks like a great birthday, you guys know how to have a good time!
Wendy- My friend Laura (same gal who helped me make Teya's cake) is really crafty and she made the flower clips. They were actually for the girls but I started wearing them too ; ) p.s. totally hear you on the theater room! That's definitely on my "someday" list!
Happy B-day Taber! That cake looks out of this world yummy! Anything strawberry is right up my alley!
Happy Birthday Taber! Sounds like a great celebration. Love your spontaneous dessert! Fun!
That strawberry cake looks so good! I love that you went to Outback, watched Avatar, and then got desserts at Chili's, too - can't get better than that. Happy birthday to Taber!
Dude that was not a birthday party the was a birthweekend party. How cool. P.s. did you make that strawberry cake? It looked delish. If so I need the recipe.
