This morning when Teya looked out our window and saw this picture she was jumping around for joy, shouting, "WINTER'S HERE!!! WINTER'S HERE! HOORAY!!" The moment was not quite so joyous for me. I tried to be get excited with her but last year the 2nd week October was a picturesque scene of fall beauty, NOT big fat snowflakes dumping from the sky. I felt like I was being robbed of fall. I'm not sure if I'm ready for this, but at least Teya's happy. (And I'm crossing my fingers it will melt and we'll have a few more weeks before this whole place freezes over for the rest of the winter!)

"Don't eat the yellow snow Mom, just the white snow." Ew. seeing her eat ANY snow makes me cringe but it's all part of childhood so I figure a few bites won't hurt right?

Let's make a snow man!

The finished product. Guess I can't complain too much when the snow make her this happy. She is so in love with winter, good thing too since it looks like it will be a LONG one this year!

I love how you can see her little face just barely through the hat! :) That is a look of pure joy that she is wearing in the last one.
Hey, at least it has stopped snowing for the moments, right? Hopefully our fall comes back at least for a few more weeks!
Oh Becca it's a good thing that you're such a positive person :) Cute pics of Teya and here's hoping for a warming trend in Minnesota!
LOL! I thought you were going to announce that #3 is on the way! Snow....yuck! Wishing you a warm and cozy winter!
BOO HISS BO HISS!!!!!! Stay away winter; stay away I say!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry!!

Hey Becca!
I know it's a long Winter out there and us Uda's don't do as well without the sunshine, but the pure happiness on Teya's face makes it worth it. She must have inherited the Rigg side of loving winter activities since they spent so much time in Alaska. Beautiful little girl, cute snowman.
Hugs and Kisses!
Mom Uda
I agree, we got our first snow day here in SEPTEMBER!!!! It was nuts! Luckily for me it's gone now, but I'm sure it will return again all too soon. Good Luck!
OH NO!!! Cute snowman though!
Teya looks like she is having sooo much fun! Love her little cute outfit! Boy is she a trendy snow bunny or what!?! I'm not looking forward to the snow either...But on the bright side, it sure is beautiful when all the trees and mountains are flocked w/ snow!! And then, there's always Christmas to look forward to!!:)
awesome snowman! Glad she loves it.
Still can't get over that first picture. Love the mini snowman!
I can't believe you guys have that much snow already! I was getting all excited for fall here because we got a little bit of cooler weather and rain, so I got out all the girls' winter clothes from the garage on Tuesday, and then yesterday it was back up to 90 degrees.
Teya looks so cute in all her snow gear, though!
Oh man, that's depressing! I'm all for fall and could certainly do without any winter at all! At least Teya looks adorable in the snow though!
How cute is she! Doesn't it just melt your heart when your baby is that happy and excited? Believe it or not, we miss the winters in Utah. I think Cam misses it more cause big guys like the cold :).
Oh man! I really feel for you! At least Teya's gonna be the cutest dressed kid out playing in the snow! Stay warm!
