1) tantrum because she wants to sit in the little kid seat part where Brinley is.
2) tantrum because when I stick her in the big part of the basket, she can't stand it when the groceries start touching her. "Ouch! Move them mom! This is my seat! Ahhhhh!!!"
3) tantrum because after taking her out of the basket to avoid the groceries touching her, she wants back in.
4) frantic moments of panic when she decides that being out of the basket is a good time to run like a wild animal all over the store or play hide and seek.
All these problems were solved with the Cadillac cart. No jealousy of the kid seat because they're both sitting in the same part together. Groceries don't touch her and she has no desire to run around the store because she's having so much fun in her special seat with Brins. So for now, we seem to have a good handle on the grocery shopping scene. At least until we decide to have another kid, then I have NO IDEA what I'm going to do!

My kids love the grocery baskets at Maceys because they have the car in the front where they can both sit and drive. The basket is behind the car and I can put Malia's carrier seat in the basket. It's very hard to maneuver though and heavy, and I can barely see over the top of Malia's carrier. I look pretty silly but the kids love it. Glad your kids graduated to the cadillac cart!
I have always wondered what it would be like to push one of those things around! I am glad they like it though...those are two cute girls you have there!
Man! You are brave! I can't stand pushing those things around. I took Joseph and David to Maceys for a milkshake party once and pushed them around in the car-cart. It was so heavy and I kept crashing into things! But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do! :)
I know they love those things! and we hate them. but if it keeps the kids happy, we'd pretty much do anything right?
That's a cute pic of the girls too! I love brinley's little feet dangling but looking like such a big girl!
Yeah if they just had one that seats three... everything is complicated by an extra baby!
Ah yes, the cadillac monstrosity. What would we do without it?! It is seriously my saving grace.
Just think of the arm muscles you are building pushing that baby around :)
