Since graduating we've gone to a few pow wow's and Taber's done the hoop dance at various talent shows for church and in grad school. Lately though we haven't been doing much to keep up with it (or expose our girls to it) So now I'm feeling inspired to at least take them to a pow wow so they can get in touch with the part of their background (tiny though it may be) that happens to be Native American.

I would love to see him do the hoop dance...what a cool legacy to give to your children! This brings back memories of my own dancing days!
The hoop dance is amazing! We saw it performed when we were visiting the Grand Canyon. Love the pictures - Friday Fotos is a great idea :)
These pix are great, so colorful.
Ya know, when we (Americans) go to other countries and observe the cultures and traditions of their people, we often forget that we have so many Native American tribes that are also rich in culture and tradition. It's good that LL allows yall to share some of that with other people.
Okay, just another reason why you guys are so amazing! I love all the pictures. Also, I had no idea Taber had such hoop dance talent! Wow!
