Just wanted to give a quick update on Brinley. Today she went in for her third shot of rocephin. That stuff is as thick as glue but it sure seems to work well! The Doctor said her ears have improved quite a bit and to my great relief her fever is gone!
Here's a picture of her in the waiting room. It was great to see her interested in playing and exploring. She was definitely getting back to her normal self. After her shot she went down for a long nap and when she woke up she was a new baby! crawling around, laughing at Teya, and smiling her big crooked teeth smile. We're so happy to see her feeling better again. Thanks for all the supportive comments and for keeping her in your prayers. Hopefully now that the weather is getting better we won't have any more ear infections!

poor brinley...im so glad that she's getting back to her old self again. boy, this episode must have been so scary for you and taber. give her a kiss from aunty lohi and uncle cam.

Oh man, there is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your energetic baby all lethargic and out of it... and scary too! I'm glad she's getting better. She looked really out of it.
Makenzie got a super high fever like that twice when she was a baby (both times double ear infections). I know what you mean by the ball of lava, it's unbelievable how hot they feel! But I'm glad she's getting over it!
Ok... I can't believe your little surprise on June 20! Dude, you guys are animals! I'm dreading your Saturday run for you. :) I'm so excited to see how it all goes! I want to know every detail, and don't go romanticizing it... tell me how bad it really is!:) You guys are amazing, I am so impressed.
I'm so glad she's getting better. We were worried.
P.S. When I saw the picture of her laying on Taber I thought she looked so much like Noa.
