As Teya is just 2 months shy of her 2nd birthday she amazes me everyday with the things she's able to do. Recently she has started counting to 10, which is funny because I've never really counted past 5 with her. I mean, I read her books with counting and I'm sure she hears counting on TV but it kind of blew me away when the other day we got to 5 and she just kept going till 10! She's also getting pretty good with her colors. She can now identify, red, yellow, pink, blue, orange, and white. I think she knows what green is too but struggles to say it. Anyway, here is a little clip of her counting and doing her colors. She kind of forgets the number 2, but it's still cute. Also I threw in a little snip at the end of her jumping off the stairs because she just learned how to land on her feet instead of her bum. ; )

Oh my goodness, Becca, this is Kate Cotter. I randomly stumbled across your blog (I seriously can't even remember how at the moment!) but your family is so beautiful and you look so happy and I'm so glad to see pictures! I'm always so sad that Timpview doesn't have a giant reunion for like ten years at the same time so we can see people we DIDN'T graduate with!
Anyway, hi and hello and stuff!
She's a genius!! Wow, she's a great little talker. Isn't this age fun? I mean the whole world is one huge discovery center for them. I LOVE it! I was reading to Kainoa the other day, and he loves the I SPY books. I asked him, "Where is daddy?" and he pointed to this huge ugly alien! Ha! I cracked up, kids are SO cute. Teya, is such a cutie! Agh, I just want to kiss her cheeks and give her a huge hug! Love ya, Mer :o)
PS I hope my enthusiasm doesn't scare you! I just love kids!
She is so smart! I can't believe she's not even two yet. Plus, she's got quite a good jump - she might have some sort of future, there.
On another note, Becca, I was dying when I read your comment about making the poison soup for strangers. How were you going to make them eat it? I can just picture it, and it's too funny.
When we learned about strangers in kindergarten I remember mapping out all the McGruff houses in my neighborhood and I would keep track of which one was closest as I walked home, so I would know which one to quickly run into if strangers tried to get me.
wow! that is so cute. I was with her just a month ago and she has really just grown. That's awesome bec, you're such a good mom for teaching her so well. I am proud of both of you
That is sooo adorable! I better get working with Alli! She just turned 18mo. She doesn't know any of that! Yeah for Teya to have such a smart, talented Mommy! Hey, send me your email so I can send you a blog invite. I know it was on your Christmas letter but that got packed away in the Christmas boxes. I'm at Hansens911@aol.com
Wow- she is amazing! Way to go Teya! I loved her yellow- "wello". So cute :)
She is so adorable, and you are such a great mommy!
She is such a little smarty pants! She is talking like my Abigail did at that which is way more than my twins right now. I love it! Isn't it so fun to converse and hear her little words all the time?1
