On our last day at Camp Joseph the girls were scheduled to attend their little friend's Barbie Fashion Birthday party. The party was at 3:30pm. We were 2 hours away in Vermont. We figured if we left at 1pm we'd be okay... until we got sidetracked by 24 flavors of soft serve and crispy golden onion rings. That deliciousness put us about 45 minutes behind schedule.

We put the pedal to the metal and made it into Nashua at 3:45. The girls were filthy and still in their camping clothes but we had no time to spare. I quickly rushed them in the house, stripped off their stinky campfire clothes, threw dresses over them, undid Teya's braids, put bows in Brin's hair and hosed them down with perfume.
We arrived at the party at 4pm, only 30 minutes late and just in time for the girls to hit the catwalk.
You never would've known they had just come from a campout.
A lot of Teya's preschool friends were at the party, including her teacher Mrs. H! She was so excited to see her again!
Mia's mommy went all out and every detail was perfect. The kids got to do a little fashion show on the runway and it was pretty darn cute.

Eating dinner with an explosion of pink. Pink food baskets, pink trays, pink table cloth, pink cups, pink dinnerware, pink napkins, pink girly heaven. : )
Teya modeling the feather boa, necklace and sunglasses from her goody basket. So stylish.

Teya and Brinley looks SO adorable! Teya's hair looks like it should be on a runway ramp.
They looks like little models! Good work, Becca, coming straight from a campout! :) There are some seriously cute birhtday ideas all over your blog...maybe I should pin them? Ha ha! :) This mom needs to step up her birthday party game!
Hahahahahaah! "Side tracked"! HAHAH! Dude, been there, done that! That's OK though cause the girls looked fantastic! Seriously, I never would have guessed that Teya's hair was the result of camp braids. It looks like you spent forever dolling them up. Way to go you awesome mom you!
Awesome job! Their hair looks like you slaved away in preparation for the party! Good idea on the perfume, too. That runway is insane. Seriously. But really cute, too. And I'm in love with Teya's dress!!
haha I just saw Naomi's comment about getting sidetracked, soo funny!!
oh my goodness. I love your girls! they are so cute! I may have just said to devin,"I wish i could be a princess like teya and brinley..." He gave me a really weird look... But seriously i love their pink dresses.
I am impressed - truly awesome mommy powers. What a fun idea for a party, too. And your girls look adorable. Really, you and Taber have good genes, because all your kids are gorgeous! I love Teya's special braid crimped hair. I'll have to show Rachel - I did a little braid in the side of her hair on the first day of school last week, and then I kept the braid in all week (just redoing her ponytail every day) and just this morning I undid it for church, and she was so proud of the waves.
