Teya's first talk

Teya gave her first talk in primary last week. I wasn't sure how it would go because in our practice session she was really distracted and had a hard time putting it all together. Once she was in front of all her friends though she just lit up and did a great job. She spoke up loud and clear and was very animated. I was so proud of her and happy that Taber and I could be there to watch.

Here it is re-inacted (mainly for the grandparents). She gets off to a slow start (thanks in part to miss Brinley) and isn't quite as animated without all her friends there to watch, but it still gives you the idea. I also included an out take of our first attempt to record her talk that was REALLY interrupted by little Brin. Funny stuff.

Abby gave her first talk in church today, too! (Well, I gave it while displaying the visual aids Abby had colored. She was too scared to talk.) We were just glad that she didn't run off the stage crying :) Wish I could have been there to see Teya. I bet she was awesome!

So impressive. I think my favorite parts are all the Brinley interruptions, though. Teya's a good sport about it - you can tell she's used to it.

I was totally impressed! I don't think I've ever seen a kid in Jr. Primary do so well, let alone little teya still in Sunbeams. So cute!
