I've been working on this for about 12 weeks now and it won't be done until January 19th, but I thought I'd post on how it's going so far because even though it's still in the beginning phases, it's taken A LOT of energy to get to this point! We're calling it Baby #3 for now, but if Teya has her way it will be called Tykey if it's a boy, and Cutie if it's a girl : )Teya's been really cute about this whole pregnancy thing. We weren't going to tell her until I really started showing but I've been so sick and tired that she was starting to wonder what was going on. Finally about 2 weeks ago she said, "MOM! You're tummy is always sick and you're NOT getting better! I care for you, Daddy cares for you, and you're STILL not getting better. Have you been eating too much candy?"
I had a good laugh from that and then decided it was time to let her know what was going on. Once we explained the whole thing and showed her pictures of a baby growing inside a mommy's tummy she was 100% on board. Now she's constantly making sure I'm getting enough rest and taking care of baby. If I'm eating something she's not sure about she'll say, "Mom, is that good for the baby?" She's also extremely excited to tell anyone and everyone she meets that her "Mom is sick but that's because there's a baby in her tummy and she's PREGNICK!" So yeah, once you tell your 4 year old the word is out! : )
Here's my belly at 12 weeks. Mostly just looks like I've been eating too much but won't be long before I'm round as a basketball : )

Hooray!! I knew you were planning on another one so I was waiting for good news :). And now I'm REALLY impressed by the running you did on your vacations! I was crazy lucky and didn't get sick w/ this one, but if I had, I am about 100% sure I wouldn't be running. At all. So good job! Hope the icky stomach sickness ends soon!
By the way, I love Teya's baby names. Whenever we have asked Makenzie what we should name the baby, she always invents a new name like "Droppa" or "Kooji" or whatever sounds come out of her mouth. She doesn't think we can use a name she has actually heard before. And yes, boy did she LOOOVE telling people her mom was pregnant. That's how the majority of people found out. :)

Hooray!! Very very excited for you guys! And feeling your morning sickness pain......I hope you turn the corner soon enough with trimester #2!! And Teya is just adorable, I can tell she'll be your "go to" with getting diapers, binky's etc :) So excited to hear what this little baby is....if it's girl #3.....I have a cute little boy to set her up with in a "few" years:)

You have to let me know how the transition is from 2 to 3 kids...including the pregnancy! This 1 to 2 stuff is so rough that we often say we're done b/c Katie is such a difficult baby. The thought of another one anytime soon (or even years!) scares me!

No way! I'm so excited for you guys!! You look awesome. My favorite thing is how concerned Teya was for your health - that is about the sweetest thing I've ever heard. Also love how she announces that you're "pregnick" - that is exactly how Lizza says it, and she announces it to everyone we meet. Can't wait to find out what you're having!
