The Best of the Rest

Here are the best of the rest of the pictures from when my sister Rachel was in town. Hope you enjoy!

The kids put our trampoline to good use. On one of the hotter days we put the sprinkler under it and I think they honestly had more fun jumping with a sprinkler then any of our other big Boston excursions : ) Simple pleasures!

Malia turned one while she was here! She also learned to stand all by herself without any help! What a big girl!

We went for a walk on the beautiful wooded trails in our neighborhood. This is where I like to do my runs, so pretty!

At the end of the trail is a small bridge that crosses over a little stream. We gave the kids a history lesson about the Boston tea party and then let them throw "tea" (all we had was Oregano, so we went with that) into the creek.

Here's our little crew after their tea party demonstration.

We also picked a day to hit the beach. It was SUPER crowded and we got a late start so the tide was coming in and their wasn't much space on the beach. The kids didn't seem to mind though. I don't think you can ever really go wrong with kids, sand and water.

Maile, Mason and Teya burying their legs

I thought this was a pretty picture of Maile and Mason watching the waves come in. Just looks so calm and relaxing : )

And finally on the last day they were here, I had a Relief Society activity to go to and Rachel had to pack, so Taber was the man and took the four older kids out to the park and to the mall for lunch and ice cream (By himself!) The kids had tons of fun with their cool uncle Taber and Rae and I had time to take care of our stuff without any interruptions. Thanks babe!

Thank you Rachel for coming out and thank you Ro for letting us borrow your family for 10 days, we had a blast!

p.s. The guest room is all set up now so if anyone wants to come visit, you have a place to stay! (You know you want too... ; )

That's awesome that they were there for ten days! How fun! It's always kind of a let down though, getting back into the normal routine after having family around, am I right??

I was wondering what Rachel's little one looked like since we were pregnant at the same time. She's gorgeous like the rest of her family. It's hard to believe these babies are ONE!!!

So much fun! My kids would think a tramp with a sprinkler was absolute heaven! I'm a tiny bit jealous. We wouldn't even have to walk to the pool anymore.

The trail in your neighborhood is gorgeous, too, and I love how you conducted your own little Boston Tea/Oregano Party! Awesome.
