All Grown up and Married

This picture was taken 8 1/2 years ago on our wedding day. That handsome little guy next to me is Devin Rigg, Taber's oldest brother Bob's son, and subsequently, my nephew : ) He was barely a few inches taller than me when I met him and still much shorter than Taber and his Dad.

Fast forward to last weekend and now that little guy is at least a head taller than me and definitely has a few inches on his Dad! He's also officially a married man, which is still a little hard to believe because I swear I didn't get any older so how the heck did he? ; )

Taber was able to fly out to Utah last week with Brinley for all the wedding festivities. We had some good memories with Devin from our days living in California. Playing Mario Cart on the old supernintendo, shooting golf balls on the range, going out to eat in LA, heck, Bob and Devin would even stop by Kohl's to see Taber at work. Devin was always such a good kid so it made us really happy to see that he found a really amazing girl to share his life with : )

Teya and I couldn't make it out (tickets were unusually pricey) But I'm glad that Taber and Brinley were there to represent our family and be there for such a special day. Here are some of the pics he took while he was there.

Rigg boys. Taber's Dad Bob, his brother Brett, nephew Devin, brother Bob, and Taber.

Lots of Rigg nieces and nephews at the rehearsal dinner the night before. I actually got these pictures from Taber's brother Bob. So fun to see how grown up and good everyone looks!

This is a fun picture of some of our really good friends from Minnesota who also work for General Mills and happen to be related to Devin's new wife Stephanie. I'm totally jealous that Taber got to see them and I didn't!

Taber and Brinsie outside the temple.

Brinley with the bride and groom at the reception. Kudos to Taber for doing her hair with a bow and everything!

The gorgeous cake, ice sculpture bouquets and Devin and Stephanie chocolate bars.

Brinley and her little cousins, Ollie and Rulan.

Taber said Brinley was a maniac on the dance floor. He didn't capture any video but from her smile in this picture you can tell she was having a good time.

Cousin hugs!

After the wedding festivities Taber spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with family. His sister Jill has an indoor pool and Brinley was lucky enough to get some good swim time in it.

Amidst all the Rigg family fun Taber was also able to sneak down to Pleasant Grove and have dinner with my Mom and Dad who were very happy to get some Grandma and Grandpa time in with Brinley.

Congrats again to Devin and Stephanie. They are a darling couple and we wish them the best!

We were sad you didn't make it, but wow... that Brinley is adorable! She was shaking that booty on the dance floor the whole night! I was also impressed with Taber getting her all dolled up, good work! It really is fun to see little Devin all grown up. :) And that was nice of you not to mention how much older Bob looks! jk! lol.

I wish I could have seen Brinley dancing! I bet it was adorable...that girl could shake it before she coud even crawl...ha ha! Looks like it was a fun little trip for Taber and Brinley, and fun that you both got some one on one time with your girls!

How cool that Brinley got to have some one-on-one time with her Dad, I bet she loved it. She is really looking like a big girl and I am also VERY impressed with Taber's hairstyling skills!

I love that Taber took Brinley along - you gotta love the free flights before 2 (how nice to be able to fit one last one in before her birthday).

Anyway, great wedding pics. Brinley looks adorable in her little dress. For some reason seeing her party there without Teya makes her seem extra old.

Also, I could be wrong, but is that last picture at Los Hermanos? I could swear that's the remains of a Brisa specialty drink (should I be embarrassed that I recognize that? Yes.) I miss those drinks.

So many comments, so little time :)
1. You guys are a hot couple. Such cute wedding pics, and I have to say, based on the pics on your blog, not much has changed.
2. Such a great idea (on so many levels) to send Brinley with Taber. Note to self to do that in the future with my kid(s).
3. Woot! for the bow. That is a big deal.
4. EIGHT YEARS!!!! Its been 8 years since you guys got married! That means its been, what, like 11 years since Guadalajara...oh man...I am starting to sound like my parents talking about time flying by.
5. cute post.
