Sunny December

While ice and snow storms hit across the country, we're staying nice and warm here in Tennessee. Today we are enjoying a very sunny December day with a temperature of 75 degrees. Teya and I went to the park this morning, something I'm not used to doing in the middle of winter. When we came home she still wanted to be outside so we took off our socks and shoes and laid out in the grass in our front yard. Though I love a white Christmas like everybody else, I can't complain about this beautiful weather and the opportunity it gives us to get out of the house!

I'm just jealous that you can actually sit out on your grass with no shoes on. I would never dare to do that here. You're probably not missing the grass in Texas.

Look at that blue sky! You gotta love it! We did the same today in Ca. It's hard to believe it's Christmas time with clear sunny skies. What's with the grass in Texas?

The grass in Texas is just really thick and scratchy, not something you'd want to lay down in or sit on without a blanket.

Nice! Your first line of this post sounds like you're a news reporter! :)

Texas grass was best explained to me when my friend told me that the creator of "Honey I shrunk the kids" was from Texas. Basically anything you can imagine can be crawling around in that grass.
